10-10-23   THOUGHTS

If  Proverbs is anything, it’s about a father who wants his son to love WISDOM!  Wisdom is personified and speaks in the female voice.  The mind of God is to be our desire and it brings us blessings beyond all blessing.  It is God’s MIND and God’s WAY for the human He has created!   Our failure to REVERENCE AND FEAR  OUR GOD, discounts our desire to know Him.  We then fiddle with  LIFE and ETERNITY!  We end up being old and immature spiritually.  We have NO SELF-STARTING NATURE!   This cannot be!  GIVE ATTENTION!  Let’s pray for each other.

Prov  5:1  My son, give attention to my wisdom, Incline your ear to my understanding;
Prov  8:1   Does not wisdom call, And understanding lift up her voice?
Prov 8:32-36   "Now therefore, O sons, listen to me, For blessed are they who keep my ways. 33  "Heed instruction and be wise, And do not neglect it.  34  "Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts.  35  "For he who finds me finds life And obtains favor from the LORD.  36  "But he who sins against me injures himself; All those who hate me love death."
Prov 9:5-11    "Come, eat of my food And drink of the wine I have mixed. 6  "Forsake your folly and live, And proceed in the way of understanding." 7  He who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself.  8  Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you, Reprove a wise man and he will love you. 9  Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning.  10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  11  For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.

My Prayer:
Lord, bless us with the wisdom that can only come from You.  Teach us to love the search for Your mind and Truth.  May we find this treasure, may we find You.  Help us to proceed in the way of understanding.  Help us to be self-starters in the way of righteousness.  Teach us to focus pure hearts on active love as we promote The Kingdom and lift up the name of our Lord.  Help us to make Him the Lord of our lives.  Nothing else, O God, first in all for us.
